The Bunten farm is a 193-acre parcel of farmland, managed woodland and deer wintering yard, protected by the Conservation Land Stewardship Program of New Hampshire. The conservation easement ensures that the land will never be developed and will remain open for productive agricultural use. On the property are two 19th-century post and beam barns, a stable, and an 11 room, 9 fireplace 1835 brick cape with 4 chimneys. Attached to the house are both a shed and the original carriage shed (later transformed into a garage) that is now the Farmhouse Kitchen and dining room.
Having acquired the Bunten Farm in May 2005 from Chris's father's estate, Chris and Bruce have a unique operation — the ONLY Milking Devon dairy farm in the USA. Devon milk has one of the highest milk solids and butterfat content of any milk. Chris produces unbelievably flavorful Devon milk products — yogurt, cheese, and refreshing fruit drinks based on whey. Bruce wears the cattleman hat and specializes in ice creams.

Forrest and Evelyn Bunten (Chris' parents) were renowned for 50 years for their Bunten Pumpkin Plaza. We proudly continue that tradition, offering 35 kinds of pumpkins, gourds, and squash along with Indian corn, popcorn, preserves, pickles and catch-up. We currently have 40 Milking Devon cows/heifers, 4 bulls, 13 calfs, 1 Narragansett turkey, Harry the Bernese Mountain Dog, 4 guinea hens, many cats and 3 bee hives.
